About

My name is Josh Fishburn. I do games, and doing is designing, playing, critiquing, programming, subverting, teaching, and other creative engagements. My background is in computer science, but I’m in the middle of an expansion into media studies and the arts. To this end, I’m a graduate student pursuing a dual degree in Digital Media Studies (Master of Arts) and Electronic Media Arts Design (Master of Fine Arts) at the University of Denver. I work as a graduate research assistant on the National Science Foundation-funded P4Games project. I also teach web and game design at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
